Responsibilities

 

• Act as the subject matter expert to drive results by working collaboratively with internal teams (and customers) to resolve issues that may arise

• Participate in project work from technical analysis, design, development through to solution testing and roll-out

• Take full ownership of assigned tasks, performing regular maintenance operations to ensure overall service health of solutions in place 



Requirements

 

• 3--5+ years of development experience 

• Post-secondary education, or equivalent experience 

• Experience with performance monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting, and security hardening 

• In-depth knowledge of Xcode/Objective C 

• Solid working knowledge of Visual Studio and TFS

• Solid working knowledge of Java, C# and HTML/CSS 

• Experience working with Ant or similar tools

• Experience working with PhoneGap/Cordova or other cross platform application tools

• Experience working with virtualization technology 

• Knowledge of MS-SQL would be an asset 

• Experience in creating system-level documentation 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

• Ability to adapt, work effectively and collaboratively within a distributed team

Our teams work remotely from offices and are spread across Canada. We use top notch solutions like Microsoft O365 with VoIP, video and IM to connect teams together so they can share ideas and work on solutions. Our company invests in and utilizes a full suite of development and support tools including Azure cloud services, test devices, and third party utilities to help our teams be successful. We are creative problem solvers but we also follow established best practices to provide our developers with a solid foundation.
