Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook Japanese meals; Plan and create new menus and recipes of Japanese cuisine; Ensure food meets quality standards; Clean kitchen and work area; Train staff in preparation, Cooking and handling of food; Supervise kitchen staff and helpers;Order supplies and equipment; Inspect kitchens and food service areas; Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment; Estimate food requirements and costs;
Educational Requirements:
Completion of secondary school
Skills and Experience Requirements:
2 years to less than 3 years
Oral and written communication in English
Compensation:
$16/hour 40hrs/week, 4% paid vacation per completed year of service.
