Salary: $15.00 hourly for 44 hours per week

Qualifications
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required
- Completion of secondary (high) school is required
- 2 years to less than 3 years of work experience in a restaurant is required (1 year of serving experience and at least 1 year of supervisory experience)
Job duties
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food;
- Prepare food order summaries for chef;
- Address customers' complaints or concerns;
- Prepare and submit daily sales/operational reports to the management;
- Ensure food service and quality control;
- Explain Japanese tapas, dishes, and beverages to customers;
- Manage a restaurant casher register;
- Maintain records of beverages and sales;
- Estimate and order beverages;
- Establish work schedules of food service staff;
- Establish and implement methods to meet work schedules;
- Train newly hired food service staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures;
- Recruit, interview, and hire food service staff;
- Determine and control wages of food service staff, together with the management;
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct restaurant promotional campaign
Other information
- Work experience in Japanese restaurants and having knowledge of Japanese tapas and dishes are asset.

- Workers Supervised: Kitchen and food service helpers (Noodle makers), Food and beverage servers
