Qualifications
- Ability to communicate in English and in Japanese orally and in writing is required
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required
- No specific credentials are required
- 2 years to less than 3 years in the related field (including at least 1 year of supervisor position) is required.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
- Co-ordinate, assign and review work of tour guides,
- Establish work schedules of tour guides and procedures and co-ordinate activities to train tour guides,
- Requisition materials and supplies,
- Hire and train tour guides in job duties, safety procedures, company policies, and effective Japanese communications techniques
- Resolve work-related problems by providing Japanese tourists with solutions and/or alternative options by communicating with them in Japanese
- You may perform the duties of tour guides if necessary
