Trü Frozen Yogurt Bar an upscale, boutique style frozen yogurt bar. One of Kelowna’s premier self serve frozen yogurt shops, we are situated in the heart of Pandosy Villiage. We are seeking a full time Restaurant Manager.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
• The day to day operations of the venue.
• Ensuring restaurant delivers a high end product & exceptional customer service standards.
• Effective communication with management/owners. Weekly operations meetings to be conducted.
• Ensure the operation’s hygiene and customer service standards are maintained to an excellent standard.
• Interacting with guests and obtaining guest feedback.
• Managing online social media correspondence.
• Ensure all staff are informed of changes, specials & features.
• Stock Inventory and Stock control.
• Reviewing department efficiencies.
• Overseeing procurement.
• Hiring and interviewing new employees.
• Ensure operations training is carried out thoroughly with new employees.
• Identify training needs & skill gaps. Plan training as needed with employees.
• Provide leadership and guidance to all employees.
• Ensure effective communication between management and employees.
Key Requirements
• Ability to problem solve quickly and effectively.
• Exceptional customer service skills delivered with a friendly disposition.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Ability to actively listen and address staff concerns, comments and/or issues.
• Knowledge of staffing, scheduling and inventory processes.
• Internally motivated and able to motivate others.
• Ability to act independently and effectively.
• Strong organizational skills are key to this role.
• Knowledge of team-building, leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
• Food Safe, Level 1 or higher.
• High School degree or higher.
• 1 year minimum experience - Management Level in restaurant industry.
