Salary: $17.00 hourly for 35 hours per week

Qualifications
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required;
- Completion of college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a relevant program of 1 year to 2 years is required;
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience as a hairstylist is required;
- Ontario Hairstylist Licence is required;
- Experience in permanents including Japanese hair straightening and digital permanent is required
- Experience of providing clients head massage is considered as an asset
- Experience of dressing clients Kimono and/or providing kimono hairdressing for formal occasions such as wedding is considered as an asset.
Job duties
Hair Colouring Duties:
Bleach, Dyes/tints, Streaking/highlights
Hair Styling Duties:
Permanents (including Japanese hair straightening and digital permanent); Iron waving/curling; Roller setting; Twisting; Relaxing; Pin curls; Updo
Hairstylist Specific Duties:
Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair, Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features or determine style from client's instructions and preferences, Analyze hair and scalp condition and provide basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair, Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair; Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and also provide scalp conditioning massages
Additional Duties:
Shampoo customers' hair; Maintain and order supplies
