Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate in English orally and in writing is required
- Completion of Secondary (high) school is required
- 2 years to less than 3 years of work experience as a cook in a restaurant is required
- Work experience in a Japanese restaurant and/or knowledge of Sushi are an asset

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook sushi and sashimi;
- Train new staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food including preparation of fish and seafood for sashimi and sushi as well as side dishes;
- Maintain inventory, records of food, supplies, equipment and order;
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances; and
- Prepare customized foods for special events such as banquets;
