Q Test Inspection is currently seeking CIP NACE Level I or Level II inspectors for a pipeline coating inspection job throughout Alberta and British Columbia Applicants must have pipeline experience.
Job description:
Perform inspection on pressure boundary and non-pressure boundary components, assemblies and pipeline in accordance with the applicable code of construction and/or customer specifications. Such inspections shall include but not be limited to: Paint Coating inspections, Surface Preparation inspections, Knowledgeable in the use of coatings inspection tools i.e. DFT Meters, Holiday Detectors
Follow and maintain Inspection and Test Plans and applicable MQAP’s.
Complete all associated documentation; Quality Control reports, sign-off contractor reports.
Required Knowledge & Skills
NACE Level 1 minimum, NACE Level 2 preferred
W178.2 Visual Weld inspection an asset.
Good communication and organizational skills
Computer literate in MS Office
Vehicle provided or can use own
Must have valid drivers license

Salary: $50.00-$80.00 per hour
Contract length: 12 months
