OEM Certified Copier Technician

As our company continues to thrive, we need to add staff to our award-winning team! We are seeking a full-time OEM Certified Copier Technician needed to service our customer base in Metro Vancouver. We are looking to fill this position immediately.



Responsibilities/Duties:



· Repairs and maintains office equipment by performing diagnostic tests; cleaning, repairing, or replacing parts and components; and maintaining parts and supplies inventory.



· Provides a high level of customer service and technical support via the telephone, online, or in person.



· Documents service actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.



· Knowledge of photocopier systems: 2 years (preferred)



Required skills and experience:



· Higher consideration given to candidates with OEM certification. Preferably Canon, Ricoh, or Xerox training.



· IT knowledge, moderate to above average computer skills.

· Good written and verbal communication.

· Capable of lifting 50 lbs.

· Team player

· Experience in a similar role, preferably in a service lead company with mobile technicians

· Knowledge of photocopier systems is an asset

· Mechanical or technical aptitude is an asset

· Oral and written communication skills in English

· Proficient phone and time management skills

· Basic computer skills. Word, Excel, Outlook and willingness to learn new systems



· Enjoys working independently and demonstrates resourcefulness with minimal supervision.



· Have a good understanding of Metro Vancouver and distances between calls



· Requires a vehicle and a clean driver's license.



· BCIT Automated Business Equipment diploma or similar. (Electronics, Mechanical, and Data Communications training)



Compensation:



· Range from $50,000 - $80,000 per year salary. (depending on skills, certifications and technical ability)



· Benefits + Commissions + Car/Gas Allowance.



· Extended health and dental benefits



Additional Details:



· Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm



· Hours: 40 hrs a week



· Work Location: In person



· Free Parking for Staff
